Christmas Charity Concert to collect gifts, raise money for nonprofit

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A local nonprofit, Destiny's Legacy, inc., is holding their second annual "If You Believe Campaign" Christmas Charity Concert.

The concert be on Sunday, December 9, from 5-9 p.m. at the Lake Ella American Legion Hall. The event will feature  the following acts: Angella Lee, The Afta Skool Project, Swingin' Harpoons Blues Band, She'Lia, and other local musical artists. In addition to musical acts, there will also be spoken word, theater performances, and a DJ. Food will also be provided.

Admission is $10 at the door, but will be halved for those who bring an unwrapped gift worth $10 or more in value. Advance tickets are $7. All proceeds will go toward the charitable efforts of Destiny's Legacy.

Anyone who is interested in being considered as a recipient of the organization's "Holiday Help Program" should send an email to destinyslegacyinc@gmail.com. The email should contain the following information: name, address, phone number or contact method, number of people in household (children and adults), amount of total monthly income in home (specify if no income is available) and details about the need for assistance.
