THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Clemson and Alabama is a rivalry well formed on the football field.

Monday night's National Championship game will be the third time the two have faced each other for a national title.

Thomas County Central's Adam Choice and Austin Bryant have been a part of all three games. Monday night Jacket Nation most certainly had their back.

Thomas County Central High School has seen it's fair share of talent walk through it's doors.

Sam Holland: "We tell our athletes to look past the city limit sign. We've got two former NFL Super Bowl Champions. We have National Champions. Yes we can be on the highest stage in the land."

For Thomas County Central grad's Adam Choice and Austin Bryant, they're on the highest stage in college football for the third time in their careers.

Sam Holland: "You know, over your career as a coach, you get to be around some guys that you just know that they will be a huge impact no matter what they do or where they go. These two were just that."

Laura Parkerson: "Just here, the community come together, even people that didn't really know them but know that there's a connection here. It could be once in a lifetime, and we have two of them right now."

They are two guys who haven't forgotten where they came from.

Laura: "To see them and hear Thomasville, Georgia or Pavo, Georgia on the news or while they're watching a ball game is amazing.'

Sam: If you ride around Thomas County now, there's a lot of Clemson paraphanalia around here.

Laura: To see them and see how successful they are on and off the field is amazing."

Two former Jackets, doing amazing things and looking to go out strong one last time with all of Thomas County, cheering them on.

Sam: "We all look and we're all watching the game and we look for #26 and we look for #7 to be on the field. There's a sense of pride because these young men impacted all of our lives."

Laura: "I am not a stay up late person, but it'll be one of those nights that I'll have to have an extra cup of coffee on Tuesday morning. I'll do it with a lot of pride!"

A lot of pride for Adam, for Austin, and for Thomas County.

Both Austin and Adam are leaders academically too. Both have already graduated. Adam is working on a graduate degree.
