LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Students in Leon County joined the national effort for gun reform.
"It was great to see a lot of people talking to each other. There wasn't any, people weren't trying to disrupt, people weren't trying to be rude," said Madeleine Bodiford, Chiles High student. "I think everybody had a good conversation about what can we do to prevent this from happening again."
Bodiford says she hopes to continue to see this type action continue until change is made.
Administrators allowed the students to do walk out without punishment Friday, because they want to allow their students to have a voice.
