ALBANY, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say two children have been found dead after a house fire in southwest Georgia.
District Attorney Greg Edwards tells WALB-TV (http://bit.ly/2aRg06r) that one boy and one girl are dead after the early Wednesday morning blaze in Albany.
The station reports that a woman was taken to a hospital in grave condition, and a person who survived the fire is being interviewed.
Authorities say fire crews were called to the home in northwest Albany around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
WALB-TV reports that the fire is under investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Albany-Dougherty County child death investigation team. Few other details were immediately available.
