3 children die in Georgia house fire

MACON, Ga. (AP) - Macon officials say three children died in a house fire and a fourth child was critically injured.

Fire Chief Marvin Riggins told WMAZ-TV (http://on.wmaz.com/Wk2Hs6 ) that the house fire was reported about 1:35 a.m. Sunday. He said firefighters found four children in the one-story house. They were able to resuscitate one. He said the children's mother was on the scene while firefighters battled the blaze.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones identified those killed in the fire as 7-year-old Daija Williams, 9-year-old Jamarion Williams, and 10-year-old Nykhi Williams. Jones said 3-year-old Jaylon Williams was transported to Augusta Burn Center.
