ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A child died after being hit by a vehicle in the driveway of an Orlando home.
Lt. Robert Terrell tells the Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/28RDvXe ) the vehicle hit the child as it was pulling out of the driveway Thursday night.
Fire rescue crews declared the child dead at the scene.
Police haven't released the name or age of the child and they haven't identified the driver.
The incident happened in a residential area behind an elementary school.
No further details were immediately available.
