Child Arrested for Writing Bomb Threat on Bathroom Wall at Thomasville High

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Police reported that they have arrested a child for writing a bomb threat on a bathroom wall.

A Thomasville Police officer said that on Thursday around 11 a.m.,  he spoke with the principal of Thomasville High School about an incident involving a bomb threat written in the restroom of the school's technology building.

The officer said that the message stated that the threat was for a later date, so the school was not evacuated however, officers began to monitor the surveillance video of the the area outside the bathroom.

They were able to pinpoint a suspect through the video, leading the the arrest of the child.

Officers said that they child was transported to the Bobby Hines Justice Center to speak with a detective.
