FLORIDA (WTXL) - The charity "Save the Children" released a 2014 disaster report today that assessed how well U.S. states could protect their children during a disaster.
According to the site, Florida is one of 21 states that doesn't hit the mark.
The organization says that while Florida is prepared to reunite families and has plans in place for all k-12 schools, the state is still missing a plan for evacuating children from day cares and children who have disabilities.
