TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Several came out to swing their clubs in support of fallen officers.
A charity golf tournament was held Monday at the Golden Eagle Golf and Country Club to honor the lives of those who have died. The proceeds from the tournament will go to help with the Police Unity Tour, which seeks to bring public awareness to police officers who have died in the line of duty. The tour also helps to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial and Museum.
The event featured a helicopter golf ball drop, along with the unveiling of a Tallahassee Police Department specially wrapped patrol car.
