LAKE CITY, Fla. (WTXL) - A man has been charged with vehicular homicide for a November hit-and-run crash that killed a 63-year-old bicyclist from Lake City.

Austin Bielinski, 24, of White, Fla. was arrested on Tuesday.

The Florida Highway Patrol says that the crash happened the morning of November 24, 2017.

They say that Bielinski kept driving westbound on U.S. 90 after he hit Conrad Lotts. Troopers eventually found and arrested him in Lake City, at first charging him with leaving the scene of a crash involving death, driving with a suspended license, and violation of right of way.

However, an investigation lead troopers to charge Bielinski with vehicular homicide.

He has been booked into the Columbia County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
