WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - Five football players from a central Florida high school have been charged with gang rape.
Three of the young men are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in juvenile court in Seminole County in the Nov. 13 crime. The other two are expected to be prosecuted as adults.
A sixth person who is 18 and the only adult suspected in the rape, has not yet been charged, but is due in court Tuesday as well.
The 16-year-old victim says she was raped in a patch of woods near Winter Springs High School. The Orlando Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/1J3M1wT ) some suspects have said the sex was consensual; others said they didn't take part.
