VALDOSTA, Ga (WTXL) - The Fouth of July celebration is soon to commence in the surrounding areas.
Wild Adventures Theme Park is starting their four day-long celebration on Friday, June 30. The entire event will be filled with family fun, including the World-Famous Harlem Globetrotters, a waterpark party, and fireworks.
On that Friday, Splash Island stays open until 10 p.m. for the nighttime party. This event will also feature a DJ, dance contest, and games.
At the All-Star Amphitheater, the Harlem Globetrotters will have three shows happening Saturday through Monday. Attendees will have the chance to meet and greet the players at autograph signings after each show.
All active or retired military, disabled veterans and reservists are invited to visit the park Saturday through Tuesday and receive free admission with military ID.
Family members and friends of military personnel receive $10 off one-day admission or $5 off two-day admission at the park.
