Volunteers with the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Auxiliary got theirs on Wednesday.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says people should begin getting vaccinated soon after the flu vaccine becomes available, ideally by October.
Health officials say that's to ensure you are protected before flu season begins.
