TALLAHASSEE, FL -- A meeting of the Consolidated Dispatch Agency Board has been scheduled after the announcement by CDA Director Timothy Lee that he would be resigning from his position in February.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday at the Public Safety Complex.
Officials say that the meeting will be used to discuss how the agency will move forward after Lee's announcement but will not discuss hiring a replacement at this point in time.
Lee announced his resignation in a letter sent to Board members made up of Leon County Administrator Vincent S. Long, City of Tallahassee City Manager Ricardo Fernandez and Leon County Sheriff Mike Wood.
In the letter, Lee said, "Although the agency has experienced some challenges over the last two years I am confident that CDA will recover and go on to be stronger than ever before."
