TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) -- Coming up this weekend, Tallahassee's Cascades Park is hoping to help you get into the holiday spirit with some fun events.
The "Holiday Stroll" will feature a special show at the Imagination Fountain each half hour, along with nearly a dozen performances, including FAMU's Essential Theatre and Capitol Bells, all throughout the park. There will also be free hot coco for anyone who attends. The stroll is being held so residents can enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of the season.
"Thousands of people come to the Capitol City each year to enjoy lights in the trees downtown, wreaths on the light poles on Monroe Street, and of course, Winter Festival and Elf Night. Well, citizens have come to expect that same holiday atmosphere in the city's premier park: Cascades Park," said Heather Teter, from the City of Tallahassee.
It's on December 12th from 6 p.m to 8 p.m.
