TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Gadsden County has the highest unemployment rate in the three counties Career Source Capital Region serves.
According to June 2017 figures, Gadsden County is at 5.3 percent. Leon County follows at 4.2 percent, and Wakulla County comes in at 3.7 percent.
Ruthann Campbell with Career Source says they always have fairs in Gadsden County to help with the unemployment rate and to match skilled workers with local businesses.
On August 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., you can meet employers and interview for open positions during the manufacturing and construction fair at the UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center on Research Road in Quincy.
