TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - CareerSource Capital Region says their the eighth annual National Suit Drive is proving to be a success this year.
They are teaming up with the Men's Wearhouse on Governors Square Boulevard to take donations for individuals in need of professional attire who may be looking to apply for a job in the future.
Donors get 50% off the regular retail price of their next purchase at the store.
The drive, which began earlier this month has already seen an influx of donors, even though there's still nearly two weeks left.
According to CareerSource, they had to make an unplanned stop today at the Men's Warehouse to pick up suits because of the already large amount of donations.
"Our mission is to help people find jobs and many times they don't have the wardrobe to make that work for them, to give them the best chance of getting hired," said CareerSource CEO James McShane. "And so this partnership has been for years together and we've really appreciated what Men's Wearhouse brings to the table as a community partner."
A special push will be taking place on Saturday. Donors can come out to the Men's Wearhouse from 11:00am to 1:00pm to meet with CareerSource representatives.
