Car Swerves to Avoid Deer and Flips, Ejects Passenger

TAYLOR COUNTY, FL. (WTXL)-- Two have been injured after an accident on Saturday on Cabbage Grove Road.

According to reports from Florida Highway Patrol, 19 year old James Clayton Parker III, was traveling north when he swerved to avoid a deer. This sent his car to the east shoulder caused it to flip and eject the passenger, Cassidy Brooke Crews. The car landed on its wheels in a ditch facing the opposite direction.

Crews landed on her back in the ditch and received non life threatening injuries along with Parker. They both were transported to Tallahassee Memorial by Taylor County EMS.

Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Charges are pending.
