OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies say one Florida mother gave a new meaning to the term 'carpool' when her car rolled into a swimming pool with her husband and daughter inside.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office shared a picture of a car submerged in a pool.
They say it happened on Okaloosa Island Monday afternoon.
Deputies say the mother, who they chose not to identify, thought she put the car into park when she ran upstairs to her apartment to grab some money.
However, the car apparently didn't go all the way into park and rolled into the pool with her husband and their 14-year-old daughter inside.
Thankfully, deputies say "all parties are O.K."
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the car rolled downhill and hit a fence before ending up in the pool.
When FHP spoke with the husband and daughter, they said the car started moving downhill before they could stop it.
