TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Early Thursday morning, a floor of the Capitol Building was evacuated, according to Capitol Police.
Around 7:30 a.m. the 19th floor was evacuated for approximately an hour after an envelope was opened containing a suspicious white powder, says the department.
Capitol Police say the powder was tested and was not deemed dangerous. The building was returned to normal operations.
