TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - More than 100 friends, family and supporters of the Parkland school shooting victims gathered behind the Florida Capitol Building for a candlelight vigil.
It has been a very busy few weeks for those looking to end violence on school campuses.
Tuesday night the names of the 17 who died in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting were read aloud one-by-one, each followed by the ringing of a bell.
Many of the victim's family members were there with ribbons, signs and candles.
For Shelbie Seys, one of the driving forces behind all the action in Tallahassee, the vigil was a nice break from the push for legislation, just to remember and pay tribute to the victims.
