TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Four candidates for Tallahassee City Commission Seat 5 squared off in a forum to explain why they deserve the seat.
Howard Kessler, Bob Lotane, Henry Adelusi Jr., and Dianne Williams Cox took turns at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center talking about topics, ranging from the ongoing FBI investigation into the city to the Children Service Council.
The forum, hosted by the the Capital Area Tiger Bay Club, was the second one so far.
They hosted a forum for City Commission Seat 3 candidates earlier this month, and will host a forum for Tallahassee's Mayoral candidates on August 8.
"As I talked to people in our club and outside the club, we really do not know much about the folks that our running, so this is a great opportunity to be able to hear their positions on various questions, because at the end of the day we really want people to be able make informed decisions before they go in that ballot box," said Jeff Hendry, member of Capital Area Tiger Bay Club.
