TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An estimated half of the cars flooded during Harvey will be sold with "no" flood label.
Cars rot from the inside out, as flood damage affects the mechanical, electrical and safety systems of the vehicle.
Half of the cars damaged get cleaned up and moved around the country with no notation of flood damage.
But car dealerships must disclose in writing if a vehicle has been affected by a flood.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles says there's a place on the vehicles' title that indicates if it has flood damage.
