TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - No question, games are one of the most exciting things about a fair.
There are dozens of unique games set up all around the North Florida Fair, and everyone wants to know: Can you actually win a prize?
A group of state attorneys and local officials came to the fair on Thursday to inspect all the games. WTXL followed them around and learned they actually play the games until someone wins, making sure everyone has a fair chance.
Gaming rules are drafted by the state, so officials have a checklist for each game.
Not only are they checking games, they're making sure all equipment is equal. Signs must be visible at each booth, clearly showing pricing, rules and prizes.
