TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Emergency calls detailed the frantic moments at Florida State University after a gunman started shooting last month.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office on Thursday released more than a dozen 911 calls made early in the morning on Nov. 20.

Three people were shot just outside and inside the entrance of Strozier Library. Officers shot and killed the gunman, 31-year-old Myron May.

The calls include accounts from students who either fled the scene or barricaded themselves inside the library. One caller says he saw May shooting someone and that he ran away after May began pointing his gun at him.

Farhan "Ronny" Ahmed was shot three times and has been left paralyzed from the waist down. A library employee was shot in the leg while another student was grazed by a bullet.
