CAIRO, Ga. (WTXL) - Loud music complaints followed by gun shots lead officers to make an arrest in a Cairo shooting.
The Cairo Police Department says the shooting happened at Holder Park in Cairo Sunday night.
An officer had been heading to the area do to complaints of loud music. But before the officer could get there, gun shots were fired.
When officers arrived on seen, they say cars speeding off and found spent shell casings and blood. The victim was hospitalized at Grady General E.R. with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim identified told police he didn't know who shot him in the leg. But the suspect, later identified as Ladareen Anderson, turned himself into the Grady County Sheriff's Office.
