CAIRO, Ga. (WTXL) - Earnest Lee Miles has been found in Live Oak. Law enforcement said that he is well, but disoriented, and family is enroute to pick him up.
The Cairo Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 73-year-old Cairo man who may be in Lake City.
They said that Earnest Lee Miles traveled to his doctor in Lake City, FL. on May 15,. While traveling, Miles experienced car trouble on the way back but was able to have the car repaired in Lake City.
They say he telephoned home around 5 p.m. and said that he was leaving for Cairo, but has not been heard from since. CPD said he has become very forgetful lately and has been displaying early signs of dementia.
Miles left his cell phone in Cairo and has no means of communication.
He is described as a 73-year-old black male, approximately 5’ 10” tall with a thin build. Miles has a shaved head and a thin mustache. Miles has a small visible scar on the back of his neck, approximately 2” in length.
CPD said Miles was traveling in his silver 1999 Nissan Sentra which displays GA Handicapped tag number PD52F8. The silver paint on this vehicle is faded.
