CAIRO, Ga. (WTXL)--The mayor of Cairo proclaims March as Red Cross Month.
Terri Jenkins, the executive director of the American Red Cross South Georgia joined Mayor Robert Burns, Sr. as he signed the proclamation.
Red Cross is month is chance for the organization to honor and celebrate all the people who help make difference in the community with actions like donating blood or volunteering.
