TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A bus making its way across the country stopped in Wakulla County Tuesday morning on mission to get women to vote for the Republican Party in November.

The National Federation Republican Women has driven a campaign bus called "Rosie" 25,000 miles through 38 states in 150 days. The Wakulla Republican Women's Club welcomed "Rosie" at a ceremony at Hudson Park in Crawfordville.

Women at the event said that they are in full support of the Republican party, including presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Despite comments Trump has made about women, the group said that his words have been taken out of context and that he's more than qualified to lead the country.

"I think Donald Trump feels fine about women. He hires women, he's never had a woman come out since he's been running to say anything about," said Virginia Moore, President of the Wakulla Republican Women's Club.

"Rosie" is also expected to make a stop in Tallahassee by the state supreme court Tuesday afternoon.
