BRISTOL, FL (WTXL) - A man from Bristol, Florida, has been sentenced to 151 months in prison, according to the Department of Justice.
Robert McCandless received the sentence after being convicted of interstate domestic violence and interstate violation of a protection order, according to the DOJ.
McCandless strangled the mother of his children with a cord and then forced her and the children to leave the state with him. He was eventually caught in South Carolina.
