TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Police said they arrested a man who shot at two people he had a disagreement with, and one of his bullets entered a nearby occupied apartment.
Deandre Perryman, 26, was arrested late Tuesday and charged with two counts of attempted murder and taken to the Leon County Detention Facility, the Tallahassee Police Department said.
Officers who responded to calls of gunshots being fired on West Lafayette Street saw Perryman walking toward the location.
Detaining Perryman, officers found he had a stun gun and a handgun.
No one was injured during the incident, police said.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police confirm they are investigating a shooting near the campus of Florida State University.
It's on West Lafayette Street, near Copeland Avenue.
According to TPD spokesperson Officer Damon Miller, they learned about it around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
He confirms there was a shooting, but is not sure whether or not anyone is injured.
Officer Miller also says despite what might be going around on social media, it is not an active shooter situation.
