(WTXL) - Republican Brad Raffensperger has won the race for Georgia's Secretary of State over Democrat and former congressman, John Barrow, in the state's run off elections
On Election Day last month, Raffensperger received 49.09 percent to Barrow's 48.67 percent, a difference of just over 16,000 votes.
Raffensperger gave a strong testimony to voters throughout the campaign trail, saying he'd make preventing fraud his priority and wants to continue former Secretary of State – now governor-elect – Brian Kemp's strict enforcement of voter ID laws.
