TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - On Friday evening both directions of South Monroe Street will be closed for five minutes while heavy equipment is moved across the road.
In a press release, Blue Print 2000 explains that the closure will begin at 8 p.m. and last for approximately five minutes.
This is so the contractors can move heavy equipment to the other side of the road to continue the construction of the Capital Cascades Crossing.
The organization says law enforcement officers will be present. They are asking drivers in the area to use caution and to expect delays in the area.
The closure could be delayed or rescheduled due to weather.
