A man out on bond in a murder case is back behind bars after being arrested for driving under the influence.

Christopher Thomas Copeland, 37, of Huntsville, had his bond revoked Monday, according to court documents.

Alabama State Troopers arrested Copeland around 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Highway 72 at East Limestone Road, an arrest report shows.

Copeland is charged with the murder of Tonya Lee Carroll, 37, who was found dead in her home on Copeland Road in Limestone County in July 2015. Authorities said she died from blunt force trauma to the head after a domestic dispute.

Copeland has been out on bond since March 2016, court records show.

A jury trial is scheduled to begin June 12.
