Body not yet identified, so protection continues

Dorner Investigation

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (AP) — As coroners work to identify the remains found in a burned-out cabin east of Los Angeles yesterday -- to confirm that they are those of former police officer Christopher Dorner -- police are keeping up the protective guard on some of the targets Dorner had identified in his online manifesto.

Otherwise, Los Angeles police say they've returned to normal patrol operations. Dorner is believed to have died as the cabin where he was holed up burned to the ground yesterday, after a final shootout with authorities. He's believed responsible for four deaths.
