TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL)--Investigators are trying to find out the identity of person found dead in a Tifton house fire.
On Thursday morning at 11:54, Tifton police officers and firefighters were called to a home on West 14th Street.
They were told a man with limited mobility could be inside the house. Firefighters found a body.
The Tifton Fire Department called a state arson investigator to the scene. The cause of the fire has not yet be determined. The body was sent for an autopsy.
