Body found in Moultrie has been identified

MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - A victim's body found lying in the middle of a road in Moultrie has been identified.  

WALB reports officials identified the victim as Clarence McIntyre, 66, according to Colquitt County Coroner Verlyn Brock. 

His body was found in the middle of the road in the 700 block of 1st Street, NE. 

According to WALB, preliminary findings indicate that McIntyre died of natural causes.

MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - A death investigation is underway after a body was found lying in the middle of a road in Moultrie.

According to WALB, the Moultrie Police Department began the investigation Monday morning after a man was found lying in the middle of the road in the 700 block of 1st Street, NE.

The body was sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
