LEON Co., FL (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deceased person in the Ochlockonee River near State Road 27 North (North Monroe) near the border with Gadsden County.
Around 4:30 Thursday afternoon, the sheriff's office says a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper found an abandoned car on the side of the road and later discovered the body.
Deputies are saying the body is a white male.
According to deputies, the investigation is still in its early stages.
