TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Detectives with the Leon County Sheriff Office have identified the body found in Fred George Greenway Park on June 5 as 44 year-old, Joseph 'Jon' Di Marco.
They said that on Monday around 8:20 a.m., Leon County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Fred George Greenway Park about a body.
Violent Crime and Crime Scene detectives responded to the scene and immediately began an investigation into the death.
Detectives say that they have been able to identify the body as Joseph 'Jon' Di Marco, 44, of Tallahassee.
There are no obvious signs of foul play at this time; however, detectives are continuing the investigation.
