TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) -- Dwight Bullard and the Florida Legislative Black Caucus met and discussed a variety of topics including a proposed set of bills for this year's upcoming legislative session.
Of the bills, one of them involved the recording of law enforcement with the use of body cameras.
State Senator Dwight Bullard wants law enforcement and government to be on the same page: "Shattering that blue wall of silence that has often permeated among law enforcement that says 'we kind of close ranks when bad things happen'", explained Bullard.
While just a proposal for now, Bullard hopes that these bills can ease tensions between police and communities.
