VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Wild Adventures is holding a blood drive on Saturday, January 5 from 2 - 9 p.m. The blood drive, open to park employees and guests, takes place at the park entrance.  The donations benefit Southeastern Community Blood Center.

“Wild Adventures team members have the opportunity to donate blood several times a year and this time we wanted to give our guests the opportunity to donate as well,” said Health Services Manager Beth Barden.  “Guests can enjoy the park with their family and friends and help save a life on their way out.”

Southeastern Community Blood Center provides blood to patients in more than 25 counties in South Georgia and north Florida. Donors must be at least 16 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and have a valid photo ID to participate. Successful donors will receive two vouchers redeemable for two movie tickets and be entered into a weekly drawing for a camera and a monthly drawing for a 51 inch television.

Wild Adventures Christmas continues through Sunday, January 6 with family friendly holiday activities in addition to the park’s rides, exotic animals and live shows. The event is included with park admission and ends January 6, 2013.
