TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The online blog titled, "Humans of New-York" is inspiring a local hospital.
"Capital Regional Medical Center" has launched #humansofourhospital, a campaign modeled after the photo-blog.
The series allows for a personal glimpse into the lives of employees and physicians through stories and photos.
The first profile of the series was about Rodolfo Oviedo.
Dr. Oviedo shared details about the adversity he faced in order to become a surgeon.
The second profile was of married couple, Carolyn Fiero, a patient access counselor and Linda Thames, a secretary, and their profile shares their 27-year love story.
And the latest installment features Renny Wheeler, an executive administration assistant, and her five year old son, who was born with a cleft lip and palate.
Mark Robinson, CEO says, it's a great way for the community to connect with its staff and patients.
