TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - With the weather warming up, May seems like a great month to celebrate National Bike Month.
WTXL was live Tuesday morning from the Anita Favors Thompson Plaza, where Tallahassee and Leon County have a lot in store.
This joint city and county effort kicks off today with the Bike Expo to show folks just how bike friendly Tallahassee is.
Bike experts will discuss everything from bike set up, to equipment and safety, even tune ups.
After the discussion, everyone will bike through Cascade's Park.
This event is open for seasoned cycling veterans and novice bikers as the introduction to a month full of fun.
More events are happening throughout the month and can be found at the Sustainable Tallahassee website.
The expo starts at 6 at the corner of FAMU Way and Duval Street.
