TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL ) - Big Brothers, Big Sisters is getting a new look.
The organization says the little "b" in the slogan represents the story of a Little and their parents coming together with the organization to build their full potential.
The Bigs complete the 'B', into the Big B. They make the relationship balanced, and stronger.
"We were not reaching our target population, so we need young male mentors, and if you look at our old logo, it's kinda geared toward a much younger kid, not very edgy, so we developed a logo much more energetic, much more enthusiastic," said Alva Striplin, the CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend.
The "B" by itself is called the "Capital" and they say it's the symbol of the real-life match that creates a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
