TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The American Heart Association Tallahassee Chapter is working to put more into research and resources for those with heart conditions.
WTXL ABC's Jada Williams was live Thursday morning to provide details about the 2018 Big Bend Heart Walk.
The rain last year didn't stop people from having fun.
The walk raises money that goes towards programs right here in the Big Bend geared towards heart health.
Those resources range from education opportunities, healthy eating and research to help those suffering.
Today's goal is $200,000.
This year's 5K starts Thursday at 6 p.m. at Cascades Park.
