Big Bend Cares' annual Artopia fundraiser coming June 22

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --  Artopia, a fundraising event for local HIV/AIDs education and support agency Big Bend Cares, will be held on Saturday, June 22.

Artopia will give residents the opportunity to purchase art from local, regional, and national artists. The artists donate their artwork, which includes a few signed and numbered limited editions, for this event,.

Last year Artopia featured more than 300 pieces of original artwork, including oils, pastels, acrylics, photography, scanography, sculpture, pottery, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, mixed-media and much, much more.

In addition to all of the artwork, local businesses and individuals donate gift certificates or other goodies available for purchase through an auction.

The event will be held from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at the Leon County Civic Center. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at bigbendcares.org.
