CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Chattanooga police say a participant in a bicycle race has been killed in a collision with a car.
Media reported the cyclist was participating in the 3 State, 3 Mountain Challenge on Saturday when the fatal crash occurred.
Police say the collision happened on Ochs Highway, and the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Chattanooga Bicycle Club website, the challenge takes riders through parts of Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
