TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Bethel Empowerment Foundation hosted their Second Annual Community Appreciation Banquet on Thursday night.
The banquet celebrated indivdiduals who are successful in the Ready4Work program and those who help assist them.
The Ready4work program helps people recently released from prison have a second chance with assistance in finding a job, earning a GED and drug abuse counseling.
Some of the people that were honored Thursday night have already gotten jobs after just one year in the program.
Local Business owners who hire the workers and donors were also in attendance.
