Berrien Co. Sheriff Runoff Election Votes are in

UPDATE -- Voters in Berrien County have chosen their next Sheriff. 

Incumbant, Ray Paulk has won the race with just over 71 percent of the vote. He was up against Frank Swanson who brought in 28 percent of the vote.

According to the Elections Office, Nearly 11,000 voters participated in early voting for the race, giving the county a 10 percent turnout. Which is a high percentage for a Runoff Election.

NASHVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--The runoff race for Berrien County sheriff is Tuesday.

The runoff race is between incumbent Ray Paulk and Frank Swanson.

The elections supervisor says 1,154 voters participated in early voting.

That's 10 percent of voters in the county which election officials say is a good turnout for a runoff election.
