TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - A local restaurant steps up to help family of fallen deputy.
Wednesday night Hurricane Grill and Wings in Tallahassee held a raffle to benefit the family of fallen Leon County Deputy Chris Smith.
Deputy Smith was killed in the line of duty when he was shot and killed responding to a house fire in the Plantation Woods subdivision last month.
Along with the raffle, Hurricane Grill and Wings will be donating a portion of their proceeds to his family. Deputy Smith leaves behind a wife and two children.
